K&N cold air kit

I purchased a new k&n cold air kit for my lightning and I was wondering if anyone has it and after the install if they noticed a whistling or howling sound coming from it under slight acceleration or when or cruising I checked all the connections and everything is right so I don't know if this is normal

Its normal. You have opened the air filter up to the outside world and can now hear your engine sucking air.

Thank you guys it almost sounds like a jet engine but I am glad it's normal I thought I was going crazy
