K&N Filter Change part #0945

I changed the Filter and took the snorkel off but my part# isn't the same as Postban's. I used part#0945 and it worked fine for me....Any suggestions if this may cause a problem..

Yep. That's the right replacement filter. Same one I used. Don't know what a #4945 is. It's the same K&N that 4.6's have been using for awhile. In fact I have 3 stock motorcraft paper filters sitting on a shelf, that I all replaced with a #0945.

I took out Silencer and used 0945 K&N also..It does seem to help quite a bit..

Ditto - silencer gone and 0945 filter from Discount Auto Parts. Seems to fit fine and sounds like it flows better.
