I just purchased a K & N Fipk for my cobra and noticed in the installation instructions The mass air electrical connection is moved from the 10 o’clock position to the 12 o’clock position. Is there a reason for this or is it just for ease of connecting the
Electrical connection.

Thanks in advance

It has to be moved due to the offset of the bolt holes for the mass air meter. Shouldnt affect anything.

Some folks had stalling at 12 o'clock so moved it back to 10, me included. No stalling since.

You have to drill a new bolt pattern but that was easy.

Now that makes since, (bolt placement) so one out of three people had stalling problems with the Mass air @ 12 o’clock. I wonder if there is a difference between 1st run and 2nd run cobras. I guess I will install with the mass air @ 12 o’clock and see what happens.
Thanks for the information.

If you have the stalling problem, go get the stall fix flash from the dealer and dont worry about it anymore. I never had to stall to begin with but I had it done anyway when they replaced my tranny.
