Kansas City folk: golf courses

Gonna be in the KC area this weekend and was wondering if any locals could recommend some decent golf courses to play at?

I'm not from KC but have you checked golfnow? They have good rates, you can search an area and have reviews of the courses.

There are tons of good courses. What area in KC will you be in? That would help to point you in which are good that are close. If your in south overland park I don't want to recommend courses up in the northland when good ones are a lot closer.

Yes I'm a golfnow user, but I was hoping to get more details.

I'll be staying in downtown, but I'll go anywhere in the KC metro area.

Tiffany greens is a good course and would be 10-15 mins away, the senior PGA tournament was there quite a few times. Loch Loyld is good as well but would be farther away from you more like 25-30 mins. Those would be my top two recommendations wth Deer creek coming in third. Its in south OP and would be 30 mins away atleast.
