Ill be installing these this afternoon after i get off of work and wanted to know where you guys have mounted them in the past. Ive seen them mounted in the spare tire well. Has anyone done anything different? (Install them somewhere else?)
This should be the last of everything i need to do before i start her up for the first time with the new motor/build. Getting anxious haha

If you have any pics, please post them up.

Thanks in advance

I built a bracket from the taillight to the FPDM bracket. The MDM Jr, BAP and BAP nob were installed on the bracket. Picture below:

Thanks Steve! That's what i was thinking of doing to avoid drilling the spare tire well.
Would you happen to have any more pics of the bracket? Is it just one piece for the top or did you do a bottom bracket as well?

Just the top. It is about 2" wide and 1/8" thick. It is very sturdy. That is my only picture.

HTH - good luck with the start up. I know it can be an anxious moment.

How does it connect on the left side? Did you bend it to mount flush against the rear or the car or is there another bracket there that it can bolt to like the right side?

Sorry for all the questions. Just want to make sure i have this down so i can try to get everything knocked out this afternoon after work.

Thanks! yea it can. Im so ready to drive he again

Without pulling the trunk all apart in the cold, I remember bending it to fit a bracket for the tail light and the corresponding nut.

Keep at it

Got the brackets bent up and mounted this evening. Ill wire everything up tomorrow. I ended up running two brackets for the MDM jr to help secure it. As far as the BAP, i noticed i had already drilled holes to mount the BAP from the last time i had one installed (When i had my KB 2.1) so i mounted it right back in the same location.

Pics for anyone looking to do this. Its quite simple and solves the "where do i mount them" issue. Thanks again Quick Strike

Thats not going anywhere. Even if you have a hurricane in your trunk. Now for the fun part: wiring it all together.

Glad to help!

Its definitely not going anywhere. Its very sturdy even though i was only able to get three screws in to secure it. I opted to use a second bracket since i had a little left over from the bar that i had purchased. Not to mention it gives peace of mind if there is ever a hurricane in the trunk ;-)
