Questions for you guys running a KB 2.2....

What pulley size do you run? (Upper/Lower)

How much Boost are you seeing?

What kind of numbers are you making HP/TQ?
And is it on 93 Pump Gas or Race Fuel? Post up both sets of numbers if you could.

And any other information you want to post about them or

Try posting this in Terminator Talk . . . . much less people visit here, even though this is technically the right area for your topic.

Kenne Bell 2.2L

Street conservative 3.5 / 4# (17lbs) Seen 18lbs in cold weather
93 octane
579rwhp / 511rwtq

Aggressive 3.5 / 4# (17lbs)
93 octane
606rwhp / 535rwtq

Race 3.0 / 4# (21lbs) Seen as much as 22lbs in cold weather
93 octane - torco mix (converts to 104 octane)
643rwhp / 613rwtq

Other than that I'd recommend getting the new snout 2.2L Kenne Bell.

Yep it does have the new snout design. Thats what the KB is coming with (3.5/4#) Combo for 17 pounds.....

What exactly does the Aggresive version of that mean?

My car with a 2.93upper and no lower is around 20 psi, however on cold nights (under 50*) here in FL (sea level) I have seen 21+ psi by 6000rpm.

I have the "old style" with the catch can. It makes 619hp/602ft lbs on 93.

Man those are great numbers!

I have no clue which pulley setup to go with after reading all of this. I would like to make over 600/600 but also have a safe 93* tune as I rarely see the track....

I'm in the process of building my KB car. its going to have a 2.2 with a 3" upper, 2# lower, long tube headers, bbk off-rd H with bassani cat-back. I figured I was going to get 19psi, but if thats what you guys are getting with just the upper, I might need a bigger pulley.

anybody have similar mods?? what HP should I be looking for.
