killer chiller sending unit location

in the middle of my KC install. I have an inline sending unit for my Autometer temp gauge that i got from an online 4 wheeler site..

should I place the sending unit post intercooler, post res., or post KC? :shrug:


:edit: I did search, but all I read is people placing the sending unit directly in the res. i dont need to do that, i have an inline

any chance you can post a link to that inline sending unit? im in the middle of my KC install and havent found what im looking for to mount the sender.

as far as location goes i think the best place is post IC, that would be the hottest point in the system and the best to confirm how well the KC is working... that is if i have done my research right lol!

thats is a good point. post IC would the best spot..
now all I have to do is find a pair of a/c hose clamp pliers...these concrete nips are worthless!!

I agree. Best place would be the outlet on the intercooler.
