Not a fan of the infidel, or otf knives in general. The auto fact is the way I'd go of the 2.

I had an infidel. wasn't impressed. sold it. I would look at pro tech if I were to look at OTF again.

what didnt you like about it?

Damn, just looked at protech…. They have some seriously elite pieces… ****!

It felt cheap. There was a lot of movement in the blade. This may be true for all OTF but this is the only one I have handled.

I found OTF to be kind of useless. They do not really serve a purpose beyond aesthetics. Which is fine but just a heads up given how spendy they are.

interesting… i handled a mini infidel and liked it a lot. Didnt notice blade play, but then again, didnt do any tasks with it at all. I also heard about some of the older models having QC issues, but supposedly has been addressed.

I think you are right as far as it not being very useful as a daily, it is basically for aesthetics. I just liked the design, the blade shape and scales.

I think I know what you mean about feeling cheap. It is a very old design and hasnt even received an update. Even the steel is not even a premium steel. some people also dont like the “chalky feeling to the scales” or the huge logo on the clip….

All that said, the design of the knife speaks sweet in my ear. The only thing I would change about it would be a different steel for the blade (CPM-Cruwear) and remove the logo from the clip itself. Also, in the 0.0001 chance that I were to need a self defense knife, I bet this would do a decent job….

I've got an infidel and I like it. However, as was already mentioned, it's not particularly useful. But they are illegal here and it's my way of saying FU to Inslee and the rest of the cucks in Olympia.

As soon as I get home.

The edge is very nice. Took me a bit to get used to an edge on both sides. It's not an EDC for me.

Bought a little cool gimmic knife the other day. Came in quick. Thought it was neat being able to customize it with wood stain color, blade artwork and threw mysticsvt on it.
