When my 03 grows up maybe it will do that. It is now one week
old (no mod's yet). What mod's did you do to your car, other
than tires!

First... get rid of the sloppy ford shifter. Get a pro5.0 or a steeda tri-ax.:beer:

I was going to go that route too, but I ended up buying an MGW handle and after using it for the last 500 miles or so I will no longer be getting that Pro 5.0. It feels that good!

I don't understand! Why the shifter mod first? I was thinking
I should do the air filter first and the 2.93 pulley. And then maybe
look at doing the shifter and a chip.

It's all up to you. The first thing I did was change the handle to an MGW. I was thinking about going with the Pro 5.0, as I had it on my '97 Cobra, but decided to try JUST the handle first. The spring action of the stock shifter feels fine and I am happy with the performance of the MGW. It transmits the trans "feel" WAY better than the stock shifter. It's no longer vague and you can feel the shift gates better. I recommend it as your first mod. It is easy, cheap, doesn't require special tools, and will enhance the everyday drivability of your steed. :thumbsup:

The shifter makes the factory sloppiness go away and will extend the life of your transmission by not allowing you to overshift the tranny and bend the shift forks.

Thats what you think!

Most of them will sit around and B!*ch and moan and say that it's still ONLY a Mustang and for the price you could have bought a used vette and put in the money to make it faster then a 03 Cobra blah blah blah.

it's bad now over on corvetteforum, but it will get worst.
