Gents,
Just checking if there are any known problems or issues I should be aware of? 1997 with 148k miles, and runs great! I changed the oil yesterday and am having the coolant checked today. I plan on putting some fresh plugs in her soon and I will be taking the intake off to check for carbon build up.

Anything else I should be aware of?

OK, I take it since nobody has replied; these cars have no real issues. I am also getting the coolant flushed in a few weeks.

Sorry for questions. This is my 6th Mustang, but first Cobra.

Yeah just check the IMRCs , throw some new plugs and maybe wires if
You would like. You should also change the fuel filter if it wasnt recently changed

The rear tires tend to wear quickly... haha. Just keep up with the small routine maintenance stuff and you'll have a reliable ride.

Yes, I had those codes today when I checked. I plan on delegating them this summer. Is out easy to do? I'm pretty good with a wrench, so I'm not worried.

pretty simple... there are a ton of threads on how-to just do a search on here. U will lose a little low end trq. With that said either get a tune or put some 4.10s in it

OK, I've got a new fuel filter coming, and new plugs also. Changed the nasty oil out on Sunday. Cleaned and reoiled the k&n filter that was in it. I checked the car for codes on Monday. Only codes were the imrc, p1516 and p1518. I knew the imrc's were gunked up when I bought it. After I clean them or delete them, I will do a collant flush.

Other than those priority items, the car seems healthy with having 148k on it.
