Stock they come 255 and 285 rear, wondering if it I could go with 275 / 295 rear. Question is would it fit the 2013 LS wheel and would it be more beneficial for a road course?

LS wheel sizes are 9 front and 10 rear right? Or 9.5 front and 10 rear? In any event you should be able to fit a 275 on a 9inch rim, and more meat is always better.

I am curious about what 295 you are thinking about. I am running 285/35 RE-11s on 19x10 wheels all around on my LS and am very happy with them for my non-track but very, um, 'brisk' driving habits. Was considering BFG Rivals in same size next.

Your best bet it to follow the manufacturers recommendations on wheel sizes for a given tire. I have the LS wheels for the street and run Michelin PSS 265/35/19 and 295/30/19 with no issues. Our cars are heavy so the more rubber the better. Many try and run 305 or 315 square at the track.

Pirelli Pzero Corsa (255/40ZR-19 in the front 285/35ZR-19)

Must be some confusion Para - you mentioned some 295s for the rear and I was just wondering what brand/model 295 you were considering (not the OE 285s).

Yes i'm interested in using the stock Pirelli Corsa tires in a larger size - 275 front / 295 rear

There's no real benefit to using a 10mm wider tire on a non spec rim. The sidewalls will work more and you won't notice any increased grip really unless you're an F1 driver looking for that last 0.0001 maybe

Ah ok, got it sorry for my confusion.

I think there are better, stickier, cheaper options that the PZCs. Some guys have run 305/30/19s on OE 19x10s with decent results and that size opens up a lot more options (NT01, R888, etc). Not technically 'in spec', though. I think stevespo is one of those guys so you might want to PM him for his input.

Keep us up to speed on whatever you decide, please!
