What's the tallest rear slick you can run without clearance issues? I see a lot of guys running 28"x10.5". However, the Cobra Jets run 29"x10.5" and 30"x10.5". I just wondered if anyone has run a 29" or 30" on a GT500. I've got a set of 15" Bogart wheels ordered. Right now I have the stock springs but may upgrade to the Cobra Jet springs later.

My sig pic has 28x11.5-15's ET Streets on 10 inch Bogarts. I just changed over to 28x10.5-15's ET Drags and they are much wider. The ET Streets measured 8.8 inchs wide and the ET Drags measured 10.25 inches on the same rim. I test fit the set-up the other day and it JUST fits. When the springs collapsed the tire had about 1/4 inch between the outer corner of the tire and the funder lip, perfect. I am running the FRPP springs on the rear with stock shocks for now. Hope this helps man, good luck.

Widest slicks

I have ran 29x11x15 Goodyear slicks for 3 seasons on 15x10 Bogarts without any issues. My car has Eibach lowering springs so you should be fine. I tried to run the 29.5x11x15 Goodyear slick that the Cobra Jet cars run but they actually measure out at over 31" tall and they rubbed on the inside of the fender wells at about half track.
