Last Mustang Produced Today !

[03 Red Cobra]

Just in case anyone cares, the last Mustang rolled off the Dearborn assembly line today at 1:07pm. It was an 04 GT Red Convertible with a couple of retirees in the front seats. They built about 6.7 million Mustangs since 1964. Hopefully the new Mustang plant in Flat Rock will produce a quality product. Not that I have to many complaints with my car.

I don't know when the last one was built, but there sure are a lot of 04's on the lots right now........went to the dealer by my house yesterday and they had 9 new 04's and a used 04 Mystichrome vert.......

The last Cobra built was a Redfire Convertible on March 31st...VIN # 217149.

Dearborn Mustang assembly is shut down. The paint shop, which is fairly new, is being used for the new F-150 Plant now running adjacent to Stang Plant.

I don't mind the wait for th '07 Cobra. Gives me 3 good years to spend with this one, that is if I even end up trading her in.
