Hey..
I'm thinking about swapping my brake lights and rear turn signals w/ LED bulbs.. do you have to get a different flasher for them to work correctly? I've heard mixed reviews. Anybody ever done this swap?

Thanks for the reply! I'm more into the bulbs because of the price factor; and I'd like to keep it looking stock, just brighter. I was under the impression you could just replace the flasher to deal w/ the hyper-flash scenario you mentioned. I just didn't want to spend the $ on a new flasher if I didn't have to (yep; I'm a cheap SOB).

IIRC Tim Skeleton had a write up on by-passing the hyper flash and it required replacing a relay located near the gas pedal. Too much work for my liking..lol. I'm with ya on being cheap where I can. Hyper flash..meh, no big deal :)

& by the way, [with the LEDs in the tails] it gets rid of the half/second delay between the tails & high-mount 3rd brake LEDs.
Both pop "on" instantaneous.....
