But lets check out the styling. That counts for cool points. I do like the new style the vette is taking but lets wait and see. Holy molly it's putting some numbers down thou!

Well, here's another. That ZO6 post also said that there'd be a limited run of app. 300 (three hundred) cars. So, my question is if it is a race only vehicle.

Here's the same guy, and what he reported on another Chevy site (it's even better):
Sleep on this.

For a year or two now rumors have been flying about a “SuperVette” that may or may not be built. Well I can unofficially tell you now that it will be built.

I can tell you that it will be one of the most exotic sports cars ever built in the US.

I can tell you that it will be very limited produced, less than 500.

I can tell you that it will have in the range of 600 HP.

I can tell you that it will have a mostly aluminum frame.

I can tell you that it will have full carbon fiber body panels.

I can tell you that it will be in the range of $100,000.00.

fordification, I see this as being a good thing. Perhaps this is what it will take to make sure the Shelby Concept does make it to market, that the next performance version of the Mustang (whatever it is to be called) is done right, and that Ford embraces performance throughout its line (Lincoln, Mercury as well).
