Lets See Some Aftermarket Hoods

Hey everyone

I have a 2011 Silver GT which I added flat black accents and racing stripes to make it standout/pop. I decided to remove the stripes since I bought a Cobra R hood (sitting in the box still) and getting my front bumper repainted, but was debating if I should leave it all silver or add either flat black fender hash markers or some sort of stripe on the cowl part or side of the cowl.

I would like to see some pics of what other members have done with there aftermarket hoods.

I have a 2012 GT for which i want a cobra R hood too.

Already have the Roush fascia waiting to be painted but would do the hood at the same time.

Can you post pics of the package and content, it must be quite big.

The box is huge. Needs 2 people to carry not heavy had to b 6-7 ft high and 6-8ft wide. I bought mine from cervinis n it came with a chip right on the edge where it meets the grill. Now I have to take it to a body shop to have them fix it but need to find a pickup to transport it. Cervinis is going to pay for the repairs but I need to get quotes n it's annoying to transport it each time to a different body shop for a quote

I plan on adding a cobra r hood to my 14 but I am leaning towards painting the whole hood gloss black to match the decklid panel and adding black fender stripes

Just ordered a Cervinis cobra r for my 12 black gt it will be pre-painted black eta-4-6 week just in time for spring!

Mine said 4-6 weeks ordered on nov 30th received it mid January.

Thats the main reason i didnt want to get it pre painted. I just dont know how i'm going to move that big box.
Good to know they are paying for the repair.
Did they offer to send a new replacement instead ?

To be honest I have no idea, the hood was a gift from GEICO because it was cheaper then the stock hood+vinyl. Probably around 500 or so.

-Cervinis Cobra R hood , i like it . it's a bit annoying to see over being that i live in a rather hilly area of Austin, Texas -_- . so i'm always peaking over the hood when going up hill . other than that , the fitment is spot on and the quality is great. Yes , " i need more low " that'll happen sooner or later haha

I was expecting to SEE some hoods, not everyone talking about what hoods they like or want to get. From what Ive seen so far in these pics, I like the Cobra R the most
