I like the science behind this. Its interesting.
"Time" is a human construct for purposes of this argument. When a body expires does it's "soul" follow this human construct? Who knows? I'm betting "time" in the afterlife is not the same as we perceive it.
If death is simply ceasing to exist, nothingness, complete unconsciousness...forever, would you really "find out" when that started?Sure don't know........but we're all sure to find out..
I’m looking forward to my Heavenly reward of 60 hot looking sluts. Hey, you have your heaven and I have mine.
I think that it's really hard for mankind to accept that death is the end of consciousness. It's frightening to have to accept that one day, you just won't be here, that everything you know and love will cease to exist, everything you've ever accomplished means nothing, and nothing lasts forever. That's just too much for people.
That's why there's invisible men in the sky who make you feel bad for masturbating. Creating someone other than yourself to be responsible to relieves a lot of pressure and gives guidance to those with low self control. belief in religion brings order to disorder, and that's not really a bad thing.
Make the most with the time that you have. You don't get anymore.
