Lifting up back seat?

I have to lift the back seat to get to the rear seat belt bolts...to put in some very racey Schroth harnesses..

I remember reading how some time ago, but I did forget...

Is there a latch or something to remove the back seat?

Unless it has changed since '99 there should be a spring loaded latch in the middle of the seat on each side. If you can get your head down there you can see it between the seat and the floor. Use a small screw driver to push it in and the seat should release.
