Ditto on the TPI!!!!! I bet the torque would throw you out the back glass...... Other than that it still would be slow.

I bet they do not make as much torque as a gen 2 Lightning. Those motors were dogs. Although it would make a good tow rig with the big N/A motor and bullet proof transmission.

I had one (454ss) about 10years ago. Very slow. But still very reliable and was a fun first truck. I now have a syclone and lightning. Sorry, but my lightly modded lightning doesn't hold a candle to my modded sy. Just nowhere near as reliable. Can't drive it further than I am comfortable getting it towed back. Just my 2cents since I'm fairly certain I'm the only one here that has had both lightning and the early gm (sport) trucks. The guy in the ad ad well as the poster that claimed 550 is smoking crack.
