I got my copy of C&D in the mail yesterday and saw that they just published their latest LL results.

The GT350R is 3 seconds faster than the Camaro SS 1LE at VIR. (2:51.8 vs 2:54.8), but almost a second slower than the 2015 Z/28 (2:51.8 vs 2:50.9)

The Focus RS is only barely a tenth of a second faster than the V6 1LE (3:03.9 vs 3:04.0).

Wat.

Jesus, that's impressive and further backs up my desire to buy a cheap used one in a few years just as a fun and economical DD.

EDIT: While still impressive, I just realized these were tested a year apart and thus meaning different conditions (and I know that VIR just got re-paved, so this new test would likely be faster than the 2015 tests even between the same car).
