I've seen a lot of different view points regarding the new Shelby GT500 so I thought it would be cool to have a poll to see what the overall opinion of the car is.

Yeah I'm voting needs a couple tweeks. The car is badass, but it in my opinion, some side scoops and some way bigger tires will make this car PERFECT! And screw IRS. It's gonna make the care more expensive, plus I don't know about you guys, but I think wheel hop sucks - bad. Live axle all the way.

Yes, but tweaks are needed:
- wider tires (285+)
- tougher/meaner rear end
- weight loss
- shift light and buzzer (ala RX8 or STi)
- HID headlights
- On board computer: outside temp, tire pressure monitor, estimated range,...

None of these are deal breakers but would make the car more desirable.

I voted for I liked it, but definitely need tweaks.

Likes:
The mods to the body. I like the understated but aggresive look. Ford needs to take a page from the European tuners like AMG and Brabus...you can give a car attitude without necessarily tacking on fake scoops etc.

Tweaks
IRS! The car needs to go on a diet. Recaro sport seats. HID headlights.

Bigger meats and hopefully the 450 'plus' we keep reading about will be more than just 455 or so.........465-475 would be real nice out of the factory

My only complaint is the WHEELS/TIRES......I think the wheels are pretty boring and they are WAY to small....

I voted for tweaks. Bigger tires, POS a drag pack option i.e. better eng oil cooler, some heavy option delete, and a hefty weight reduction, and I would like to see an automatic. I have medical problems with my feet, but if not that wont stop me from getting one once all the hype has settled down. and I hope the shaker 1000 is an option also. The rest i'm sure the after market will take care of. prob. already working on it.
