"Terminated" first gen Mark VIII (could do without those wheels though)

andddd there's actually a shop out there that molds Terminator bumpers onto Mark VIII bumpers. Looks totally factory ;-) I want to do this some day.

nice vids and pics. always loved that body style!

I love mine. Wish there was more aftermarket support for them. Just be ready to fix a lot of common issues with these if you ever buy one. Not for the non-mechanically inclined. I had been wanting to get one for a few years even before selling my Cobra.

Mark 7's and 8's have always been a favorite of mine. The Mark 7 was always a little higher as all the fox stuff is essentially bolt on where the 8 has more model specific parts.

The 8 with the Coyote is friggen awesome though.

Anything that can receive a TT Coyote motor should be sweet...

I had a 95 back in the day. Nice cruiser with a little grunt to it but she was a heavy one.

They're awesome. The 96's and below were just a tad bit quicker due to their better factory tune and intake. It's becoming a popular mod to use the 96-98 Cobra intake on all the Mark VIII's though

Very nice car - Videos are sweet

I'm just glad that there are still engine options for these cars. There are still many parts that are interchangeabile between Mustangs such as your usual ring and pinion gears, Mustang hubs up front, PCM tuning/flashing, and in fact, mine has an 03 fuel pump driver module because I had thought the factory one failed. Still works though.

Look at all that room under the hood. These were cool cars.

Believe it or not, the engine bay in these are just tad bit narrower than the Fox/New Edge Mustangs. Plus, the stock k-member doesn't allow for a lot of clearance to use turbos for example. The guy in the videos used a custom fabb'ed kmember for his Coyote/TT setup.

Seeing this makes me miss my 2v 97 tbird. I had it lowered with a pro kit/bilstiens and cobra r wheels. It was a sweet cruiser.
