Hey guys,
I've run into an issue where my SCT x4 can't communicate with my pcm. Neither can the Ford dealership. Long story short, the old owner had the car tuned and I never got the handheld from him so I knew the computer would likely lock me out. I've gotten a ton of mods done lately and I'm ready to get her tuned and upload my startup tune from Pro Dyno. As expected my X4 is locked out and says upload error #110BE. Now that I've brought it to Ford to have them reflash to stock they are saying they can't, citing a P1639 code which tells them the PCM vehicle ID block is corrupt or not programmed. They are saying I need a new PCM
I'm screwed, any input guys?
