i was wondering how hard it is to put a set of headers on a 00 gt. i was thinking of buying a set of long tubes but my car is lowered 1.5" and i hear the long tubes will scrap. so i am thinking of going with the shorties instead.

LT installation is a major PITA, but worth every scraped knuckle you get. Plan on 8 hours and you have to jack the motor to do it. My BBKs sit no lower than the stock H pipe did, you shouldn't have any problems.
I have a set of BBKs on my GT as well.... never had a problem with scraping them, and I've had the car in the weeds a couple of times.... it's worth the effort... and agrivation and pain
