Started the long tube install today. I was alone for the majority of it, but had a lift to use. Got the k member dropped and both manifolds out before help arrived. Heres a few pics of the adventure. Got about 8 hours in it at a slower pace. Had phone calls and a trip around town to find a screw Jack to use. About 3 hours with help.

We heated and bent a wrench, cut another one down to about 4.5 inches, and some swivels and stuff got the new manifolds up and snug. I cleaned up the block, and the factory gaskets, and put the long tubes in. Egr actually went pretty well too. Unfortunately by the time I realized I needed to pull the battery and tray to get to the hose, the car was in the air, and there wasnt a ladder to be found. I ended up making a saw horse platform, that wasnt ideal, to get to the battery and help with the passenger side upper bolts.

Just need to tackle some other things, and then I'll build the rest of the exhaust.

You’re lucky to have a lift. I did mine on 4 jackstands. I wish I had installed the Maximum Motorsports K member in advance. It would’ve been so much easier.

Yes, same here! I was about to start this in the driveway on stands, but my buddies shop finally cleared our for a few days. I've got to tear the rear end down too, so she will be under the knife for a while now. Lol

Header install on our cars will test your patience lol. But it's rewarding to do it yourself.

You must have the patience of Jobe. The driver side install is tight!

Drivers side only had 1 that was a pain. Passenger side was much worse. Although the egr tube was much easier than expected, after u pulled the battery. The top forward passenger side bolts are a pain to do when the car is in the air, and you cant lower it.
