Well I need to tone down my truck a little, and after realizing I have a few exhaust leaks.. someone cut out the converters and used 2.25" piping to replace them instead of 2.5" :nono:

Basically i'm stuck between these two. Do I NEED a lightning-specific converter or can I get by with the ebay one?? Both are made by magnaflow the only difference is $90 for specific application or $65 for the ebay... I just don't want to bottle up my exhaust flow. Thanks

The high flows are nothing more than a gutted catalytic converter. The setup on the bottom should work. They are similar to the MagnaFlos High-flows that I put on my truck.

Many guys have went this route to save themselves from spending $500+ on a set of midpipes.
