I bought a 2014 F150 XLT Crewcab 6.5" bed with 28,000 miles last month. They had it listed for $32.5k, I got them down to 27.5k.
2010 and below have the 5.4, which still had cam phaser / timing chain issue right up to the very end. Early 3.5EBs have common timing chain issues. Based on the known issues and your budget, I'd probably be looking for a 2011-2014 5.0, but I think you're going to be hard pressed to find one with decent miles and leather in your price range. Seems like most that are in the lows to mid 20s have 130,000+ miles.
I can't offer anything on other brands, I knew what I wanted and didn't look at a single truck from other brands.
