a few months ago i purchased a used AR CAI (9.5/10). before i put it on i drove to a secluded area and made a few 2nd gear runs because i could not stop on this street. the tires broke loose with no problems every time. i went home and put the CAI on and went back to that street. with the cai the tires did not even hint of breaking loose. i tried again and they still wont. i dynoed at 399 with 370 tq. my stock numbers were 374/368. so with catback and cai i only gained 2 ft lbs nof torque. i also was seeing more boost without the cai, now it barely gets to the 8 pound line. that sucks. i went to the track and ran the exact same times with out the cai also. 13.02 at 109. i ran a guy that had full exhaust and cai this weekend, he put a car on me in first gear instantly. has anybody lost power from putting a cai on? i think i need to look at getting a different cai system.
