I'm sick of scraping my exhaust. I read somewhere that replacing exhaust hangers from a earlier mustang raises it some. What model year is it. Thanks

What model year is your mustang? I have an 01 cobra and my longtubes used to scrape until I put 18 inch wheels on it.

stock exhaust? aftermarket? lowered?

if anything Id think an exhaust shop could shorten up those hangers. My midpipe was low until we used a jack to stuff it up and tighten it back down

I found it was my springs more than my exhaust. Had Eibach and switched to H&R.
I have eibach springs in the rear and upr coil overs in the front. I never tried shortening the hangers I just put a set of 18 inch rovos on my car and no more scraping. Before that I had to leave a 2x4 by my garage door so I didn’t scrape.

Might have to take a half inch off the pipes as the go up over the axle as well. I know my Borla has a slip joint there.

If it’s an irs cobra it should just have two bends straight out the back no axels to go over.
