You really should establish exactly where its natural ride height is before adjusting bumpsteer, which makes it a real PITA if you're using conventional springs. In that case the next best thing is to assemble the suspension without springs, set your bumpsteer as close as you can to zero within an inch or so of what you think its final ride height will be, then install the springs.
