I am a Road Trip from MI, currently at a friends place in TN
On the way down, my seat adjustments for the Lumbar & side bolsters
seem to have stopped working.
When pressing the buttons, a can hear the motor ( pump ? ) come on, but I'm not getting any adjustment in the seat.
Is anyone familiar with the mechanism? Is is air pump or a mechanical
system?
I don't believe it's electrical cause the motor or pump is coming on
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
RJ

The lumbar support is an inflatable plastic bag.
There is a good write up in the How To section on the terminator forum

Thanks for the info, I checked it out with the engine off so I could hear better, and it appears I probably have a bad pump motor, it is turning extremely slow on the inflate buttons, probably not even a couple hundred RPM if I had to guess, I think it's just not enough to generate any air for the bags .
On the deflate buttons, it turns what I feel is a normal RPM, definitely much faster than on the pressure side
I've been through 7 states in the past 6 days and I'm pushing 2K miles on this trip so far, and still have to get home to MI from New Bern NC tomorrow and Saturday.
It hasn't been that big a deal so far, I have some tool with me, but I'm not gonna try and fix it on the road. I'll probably end up letting it ride till winter now, once I get home, I have a massive detail job to do on it for a couple shows, and the Dream Cruise coming up in 3 weeks.
Thanks again for the assist, l'll look up that thread this weekend
