I'm looking to put a 28" tall tire on my stock 17x9 wheels and I'm debating between the M&H 275/50/17 and the MT ET Street II 295/45/17. Both are 28" tall and both will fit the rim, but which one will hook the best is what I'm after.

Anyone have experience with both? I put this in the suspension section and not a lot of feedback, so I figured everyone would see it here. Thanks.

I've heard great things about both. Personally, i'd put a 15'' wheel out back and run the MT Pro drag radials (The x275 tires). I tossed my 28'' et drags for the drag radials and crushed my best ever 60'. I'll never run a slick again

Thanks Jon, but I'm talking about tires for my stock wheels only (17x9). So I'm interested in the best traction between those two tires, not longevity, but traction.

I have the et street 2 in that size on my 12 mustang gt a6 and it did very well until 4.10s but it still does pretty good at the track

the x275 tire i assume youre talking about is a 275/60/15 correct? cant you run a wider tire with the same sidewall dimensions on a 15?
