back from the dead i know.....

Guys I am about to install my MAC's in 2 weeks .. can you guys (who are posting these pics of engine support bars) tell me where you are connecting your chains to?

i just did mine, and connected the chains to the coolant crossover tube bolts. It's the top most ones right below the corner of the valve cover. They are small diameter but are plenty to hold and these bolts go all the way through the head so it's plenty strong. Look at the left hand chain you can see where it mounts easily.

my MAC headers accumulated a minor coat of rust on the undercarriage exposed portion of the headers..... how can i clean this off and make them look new/shine again

On the Driver side front, right above the headers is a hole you can use, I think it is the size of a wheel lug. On the Passenger side you can do as stated above.
