Hi, I just purchased a not running 2001 cobra, the clutch was heavy and almost felt stuck, I pulled the trans out big pain(bbk long tubes), and found this the throwout bearing was in pices and stuck to the fork and the teeth on the twin disc shaved off the size of the bearing.
Has anyone seen this before if so what caused it?

Any tips?

Thanks.

I haven't seen that before. I have seen TOB bearings explode though. It's hard to say what caused what. I'd guess the bearing failed and seized which lead to everything else.

Yeah I'm hoping that's what happend because I would hate to have to pull the trans again because of the long tubes.
What's a good TOB to buy?
