Hey guys been finishing up my install of the L2 Fore system and was wondering about the length of the MAP line.
In the instructions it says that the length of the line shouldn’t exceed 13 inches, but that’s not going to be an option. As I was looking at pictures of other setups on the forum it seems that guys run much longer. I’ve seen setups with the regulator in fender-wells which looks awesome. But, there is no way they are getting the length they recommend. Is this a big deal? What is the downside of running a vacuum line that’s double that length? School me please.

Thx matt

13" is not practical unless you mount the regulator up by the fuel rails/valve covers. Just keep the line as short as possible and use a good line that will not compress or expand under vacuum/boost. The idea being you want as responsive of a reference as possible.
