I was just wondering what a good 1/4 mile time is for a stock marauder with just a K&N FIPK cause i ran a 14.849 @ 95.75 and in the books it says marauders run mid 15's stock.

That doesn't sound so unreasonable to me. A Marauder with a broken-in engine and a K&N setup should run high 14s to low 15s. A lot depends on the driver and conditions, of course.

14.8's with just a K&N is very respectable.

My car:
-Bone stock and I mean bone stock, 14.90 on a warm day.
-4.10, tune and underdrives took me to 14.4 with a fluke 14.29.
-Adding a 75 shot took me to 13.4 on a 90 degree day.
-100 shot took me to 13.2 on the same day.
-125 shot took me to a 12.68 on stock tires on a 60 degree night.
-Trilogy S/C took me to a 12.64 on an 80 degree night with 555R's.

Our cars take very well to mods.
You don't have to spend a lot of money, you just need to spend what you have wisely.

Here/there/some other silly place
All I can say is most owners get better numbers then the lame ASSes at Car and Driver could ever do. Ever noticed that if its not a high end mark from Europe or Japan it doesn't do to well????

Carfixer, our car can safely handle a 125 shot? How would the wear and tear be compared to the 100 shot?

This nitrous is truly addictive.

All I can say is my car did. I ran a Zex wet kit. The Mach guys with the same engine as ours have no problem. I've heard 150 shot is no problem. It comes down to a safe tune and good fuel. I was running 100 octane when I was running the 125 shot, just to be safe.

Roger that. I've seen Carfixer's car inhale more than a few bottles of Nitrous.

Never a problem. It's all in the tune.
