I have been getting alot of pm's about "basic" Forged builds.
So,
I'm just posting to get an idea if there is a market for a "more affordable" n/a option for the 4.6 GT guys.
What do you think a fair price for shortblocks that feature:
Iron blocks, cast ford 6 bolt cranks, Forged H or I beam rods, and Forged pistons.
I would think there would be some guys that would like an option like this, without the expense of an Aluminum block, and the option of a much lighter forged I beam piston if they want it instead of "mandatory H beams".{smile}
This way you could even use the existing flywheel , and just drop in a much, much stronger bottom end, without breaking the bank.
For all intensive purposes, this would be a great option for the budget minded..
What do you think is areasonable price is we decide to build these?
