Tried the search on this a few times with no luck.
Can I fit a 315 width Nitto NT-01 on the rear of a 95R? Really having a tough time on track with the 255s (pretty loose). Don't want to do any mods to the rear to get them to fit. Will use a 10.5" rear wheel made for Mustangs.
Or is a 275 the maximum?
Thanks!

Post #9 in the link below is what I have on my 95R with a 285. I also test fitted a 315 BFG KD on these same 10.5's, it would have required bending the e-brake cable and flipping the quads to get the 315's to fit, plus they came all the way out to the outer edge of the rear fender. <<<I personally was not interested in that look, for my specific use, but they would fit, and they were a lot of meat on the rear of a 95R.

275's should do you just fine. Unless you have a TON of power 315's aren't really going to do you much good and will affect your handling.

Nice. Just the info that I needed. I know that the Nitto NT-01s 275s will fit on the 9 inch rims, that will save some wheel purchases as well.

I was looking at the 315s due to some track issues (too loose) but I think that the solution may be in the suspension, not in the tires.

My '95R is a garage queen and still has the 255's. But I run my '03 on the roadcourse with R compounds, with the car tuned at 500rwhp, and have no problem with traction. I am sure you would be fine with a 275-295 series. Kumho just came out with a 295/35/17 with a 180 treadwear rating which should be plenty of tire.
