I’m looking for a comfortable, but yet sporty daily driver. It has to be over 250HP and either rear wheel drive or all wheel drive. Also I would like to keep the price around 30K maximum. I was looking at the MazdaSpeed 6. It’s around 270HP and AWD with a 6-speed manual. I drove it and liked the ride, but I don’t know anything about how dependable Mazda’s are. Does anyone have any feedback on the Mazda brand?

well i've had my mazda for about 3 years, and i've had nothing wrong with it but changing the fluid, tires, and breaks, other than that i get in it, drive the hell out of it, and put it back in the parking spot.
A car is as dependable as what you make of it.

My beater is a 97 626 - 6cyl, 6 sp. I have 140k+ miles with just regular maintenance costs (still on original clutch). I broke an axel about 2 mos ago, but that is pretty much it. I have owned the car since new and do not baby it like my toys (Cobra, Vette). Boring and dependable - perfect for a daily driven beater.
we have a 2005 Mazda3 w/ the 2ltr, it has 20K miles, nothing but fluid changes, its great. . .
