This is a great post and Im with you on most of it. I'll say this. Mayweather has no knock out (or even knock down) power any longer. I exaggerated by saying he runs away but you are right in that he is extremely skilled in NOT getting hit. He is extremely quick, hand speed is deadly fast, and his cardio (assuming he trains) will be VERY tough to match, ok--wont be matched, by CM. All that said, the Diaz fights said a LOT about Connor. They exposed his lack of a ground game (which he wont need) and also exposed his LACK of cardio training. However, those fights also highlighted his laser sharp ability to land punches. Connor absolutely wrecked Nate's face and CM also scored knock downs via devastating strikes against the bigger man in Nate Diaz. I was impressed with CM's power and strike efficiency. Nate has a chin that is as tough as nails. Nate is ONE TOUGH MF'r. But remember he walks around heavier than CM and CM's performance was impressive in the second bout where he faced a stronger/better prepped and trained Nate Diaz. The Diaz Bro's are no frickin joke. Those guys have RIDICULOUS cardio efficiency. They do marathons and triathalons for FUN! Truthfully, im shocked Connor was able to go the distance in the second bout. I still know Connor would have his way with FM in a UFC fight, but he will likely get his ass handed to him in this boxing match.
