Me VS. STI Fri Night in Mesquite

we went from a stop. he jumped on me pretty quick of course but as i shifted into 2nd, I jumped ahead. I have know about these cars but never had the chance to race one. It's exaclty how i figured though. guess i pulled him by 5-6 cars. not sure how far we raced. not quite a 1/4 mi.

Yea, them little buggers stock can jump the line pretty quick, like 1.6s no problem. Built up, they can be quick.

They run well with a GOOD driver. Otherwise, they're ok...

man, i have only had it at the track 3 time. 1st time, 1st run i broke a 1/2 shaft! 2nd time i ran a 12.33 @ 120, 3rd time my diff cap cracked and sprayed grear oil all over my tires and i spun through 4th and just gave up.

my #'s are 473hp/494tq. :beer: hope that helps.

what year sti was it? those are nice cars.. the 06's can run 13.1's stock with a decent driver, 0-60 in about 4.7 too.

Yea I spew B.S to stir up some crap every once in a while, but when I am out on the street I also stir up crap in the import community and send them back to the drawing board wondering why 4cyl couldnt beat 8! :shrug:
