Mid Pipe Question

I want to switch to an o/r Mid Pipe. My buddy has a BBK o/r X from his 98 Cobra. Now will that fit on my 01 Cobra?

Will a 99-04 Mid Pipe used from a GT exhaust also fit? Or does the Mid Pipe have to be IRS Specified to fit?

i've heard that the 96-98 midpipes work on the 99-04 v8 cars although i've not tried it myself...and yes a midpipe from a 99-04 gt will definitely fit a 99/01 cobra...

Goto BBK.com or whatever and check the part numbers for both cars. That should tell you.

Regardless if it fits or not, I HATE my BBK mid pipe. Its a cheap POS pipe that doesn't fit well. It will be coming off this winter, if you're still looking for one then you can have mine but I wouldn't recommend it

I want my h back so bad. X isnt bad but definately H pipe sounds better, especially with chambered muffs. I also am a huge fan of Flowmaster I think they have the deepest sounding muffs compared to others that sound more 'race' ish.
