I have noticed that at a rpm of 1500-2500 there is a lot of engine popping (misfires) and then normal idle there are not many misfires. There are gapped at .030 because i spray a 50 shot periodically. It pulls a lil stronger than the stock plugs that were in there before. Has anyone experienced this misfire problem before. Are they gapped to small?

No. The plugs don't idle as smooth as the iridiums. Mine make a popping sound too. I think on my next plug change im going to go with iridiums

YES YES YES!!! Go with the NGK ix's and your idle will be A LOT better. I had copper TR6's and hated them. I switched them out for TR7ix's when I did my Whipple and the car runs great with them. No poping at idle.
