Missing Engine (assuming its an injector)

My engine misses sometimes. It comes and it goes.

I get no error codes (on the Predator) like I would with if coil pack went bad.

Ive thought about disconnecting injectors in order to figure out which one could be "sticking."

The plugs are new <5,000 miles.

Any thoughts on how to diagnose?

Would a sticky injector give an error code?

Thanks

Most likely a weak plug or coil pack going bad. If it has been raining in your area could be water getting on the back coils. The last thing I would think of is the injector. In the 10 plus years I have been around these trucks and forums, failed injectors are almost unheard of.
I could be wrong, of course, just need to have it proved to be true first.

i had no codes show when my coil was messed up on the mach1. if the problem started right after the tune up. id do another tune up.
i caught hell trying to find a miss one time. turns out the old 99 cobra, which had new plugs in it, had a bad plug. been using ngk's for years and still use them. no bodys perfect :)

I too have working on many fords in the past wit the 5.4L motors and theyre bad about coils going bad. They are also sometimes hard to find which one it is but with my experience with them it usually the ones under the drip edge where water can get on em. When you replace the bad coil youll most likely have to replace that plug too.
