I have a 2001 Cobra...long story short I purchased used motor to install in cobra so I can pull original to rebuild ,forge, stroke,etc. ... Im new to motor disassembly and assembly and I've mixed up the lash adjusters and rockers on the used motor. The used motor I am going through and replacing gaskets , valve seals,etc..while I have opportunity to. I'm gonna install to get me by for few years. I have each heads parts separated but have no idea which cylinder they go to.
This is my 5th mustang but first time getting this deep into motor work... so far it's been a great learning experience.
1. Can i reassemble them in any order?
2. Can i use EP Moly Grease to hold the spring keepers in place while reinstalling valve springs?
I appreciate any feedback so I can get on with the next step and drive my cobra before winter....
