any body try to install the MMR cooling mod @ home. i am trying to install it this week so any body can help or have a good link for clear steps.

I agree. I tried it once with the trans in but I did remove the intake. Didn't make much difference. I did hear of one guy doing it with a super long screwdriver but i'll just wait til its time to change out the clutch!

Looking forward to see what you come up with. I am doing my clutch soon and was tossing around the idea of the mmr cooling mod while i am there.

Had friend that did it. He said the trick was to drop the trans crossmember and loosen the motor mounts. Let the whole motor and tranny roll backwards and that gives you a little more breathing room.

I have a review on it somewhere on here. Search for it, lots of tips and stuff to make the install easier.

It's a total bitch to do
