Mobil 1 grade level 3?

What's goen on guys...

I don't know if this is new or old news. I have been using Mobil 1 in my car ever since I’ve got it. However, I've been hearing that Mobil 1 is now a grade level 3 and is no more top grade level oil, but still the same high price.

I'm thinking of switching to either: Amsoil, REDLINE oil, or Royal Purple and all of these must be synthetic.

What do you guys think about this and what are you guys running in your cars? :burnout:

I'm thinking of changing to Royal Purple myself. I already use it in my tranny and differential and it seems to be holding up.

Been using Amsoil, so far so good. didnt know about the grades. Who does the grading?

I think your talking about Mobil 5000

Mobil1 is still synthetic to my knowledge
