Modify the GT exhaust to work on an IRS

I was wondering if anyone has modified the stock over axle GT exhaust to work on an IRS?

I can weld and I've seen places like pypes selling mandrel bends, etc.

Cut it off after the mufflers and run dumps. Best sounding exhaust right there. Or buy a C/B for an IRS. You'd be wasting your time trying to Frankenstein the factory over axle.
