Any mod you do can cause a problem if you get a service writer/manager that is having a bad hair day. Filters, exhaust mods don't normally raise any problems but NO2 will get their attention every time, and chips can as well depending on the service department.
I don't worry about mods that don't require me to crack open any cases like rearends, transmissions or engines.
