Disappointing numbers. They ran (yawn) 14.792 @ 95.82. 1/8 mile was 9.608 @ 74.77. Part of the problem was the weight. The weighed it at 3940 lbs! (That was with two guys in it at 175 and 140 lbs, each). Sad, but the numbers make sense. Using the spec’d power of 300 hp and translating that to the rear wheels, that would be 255 rwhp (assuming a 15% loss). So power-to-weight ratio is only 255/3940 = 0.06472. Calculating ¼ mile trap speed from that, I get…
MPH = 234*(0.06472)^(1/3) = 93.95 mph
ET = 5.82*(0.06472)^(-1/3) = 14.49 sec
Take out one person and of course it’ll be a little quicker, but not much. (Take out the 140 lb guy and the calculated numbers go to 14.32 @ 95.09. The meas’d numbers scale to 14.61 @ 96.98).
This thing is heavy. 3940 lbs is 20 lbs more than my '03 Cobra weighs with my fat butt in it.
